LATEST UPDATE – 07/04/2020

Our Churchwardens have asked us to pray for our NHS including those who are members of our Church and are both working hard and have been affected.  They have also passed on a request from an NHS-serving member of our congregation for prayers for colleagues in the NHS who have sadly died, or are acutely ill. Also, for our patients who can't have any visitors and are being nursed by people in masks and who must be so frightened and lonely. And for all the patients that have died or are dying without their families and friends and for their families who must feel so helpless

New number - Greater Coverage - More Reasons

Hello again!

We are seeking the help of as many Great St Mary's congregation members as possible to promote (and use where needed), the Helpline number for shopping, prescription collections, plus other help or questions at this time. There is also an answer phone facility for prayer requests.

We have a fantastic volunteer network in place to help minimise individual shopping and pharmacy collections for those who should be self-isolating. We can also help answer questions by finding the right person or organisation to assist.

Together with Sawbridgeworth, the service now extends to Eastwick, Gilston, High Wych, Allens Green, and Spellbrook. We are working with ALL the Churches in area and ALL the local Councils.

Using the links below you can (for those with facilities) print a poster and display it in your window or on your fence, and share on Social Media using Facebook or Instagram. You can also forward this email to all your friends living locally - ask them to please do the same and SHARE WIDELY.

Help promote the service across all your contact networks - and please also use it!

With our thanks,

Shona & Anthony (Churchwardens) Great St Mary's Parish Church.
