Friends of Great St Mary's are a group, separate from the worshiping
community, whose interest is in the preservation of the church building
and fabric.
They hold fund raising functions to help look after this ancient building. For everyone, whether or not they share the beliefs of the Church of England, the Friends offers a way of helping the building to be a well maintained part of the cultural heritage of Sawbridgeworth.
